The Impreza is gone, although I still have a few things for sale. This is what she looked like before being shipped off today!!!

The Rotas went onto the Soarer as temporary measure, still bossin epic arch gap, tut tut!

So I got a air suspension controller, did the trick but the ride quality when its low is bad. Looks alright but would like some DISH
Woke up this afternoon (after a late night) to Toms bright yellow Mazda Eunos sitting on the drive, hadn’t seen it recently and it’s looking good. Should have got the proper camera really but couldn’t be bothered to go and get it, so the iphone did the trick. Hopefully we’ll get to do a photo-shoot or a video soon.

A few tasty shots from Mark of the Drift Allstars final event @ Wembley Stadium, London. Better late than never

A great event in London, first time I’ve been to Allstars although I’ve seen a few of the cars in action at other events. Just a few random snaps, I was focusing on filming but the rain got in the way of that as well. I’d say it ruined the top 16 as there was no smoke, James Dean took the win in the Low Brain S13 as well as the 2011 Championship. Video soon hopefully.

So Soarer and Impreza, it’s been fun having the choice of which to drive, and getting in the Impreza is now more fun than ever as I’m not used to it, it feels super fast! The camera jib/mini crane I ordered from the States in June finally arrived, they did say there was a long wait when I ordered but it just got continuously delayed, which sucked. So got to get some practice in now while I can before the weather gets crazy, here’s my first try, started raining so just used what I had after 5 mins of filming, got to say it’s a great piece of kit!

After the disappointment of the HellaFlush UK event being cancelled a few months ago we were hyped to hear of the Fatlace/HellaFlush collaboration with DriftAllstars at Wembley on September 17th 2011, click the flyer below for more details. It’s gonna be one hell of a weekend, with Players Show the day after, if it rains I’m gonna punch god in the face!!!

A few shots from the WLC meet on 21st August, with an awesome turnout of around 450 cars. Mark was out testing his new fish-eye lens to nice effect.

It’s been a while since I posted, just been so busy. First the car hunt was taking all my time, then the day job was hectic when all was done I just felt like I needed a break from rushing around like a mentalist, so I chilled for a bit. Now the new car is here, and a rare beast it is, a 1991 Lexus Soarer GT 4.0l V8 no less!!! I love it, it’s so different to the Impreza, for a start it’s auto, lazy armchair driving ftw. Sure it needs some attention and not just in the stance and offset department, it makes the 17″ Mitsu GTO wheels look like 14″s at the moment, with just a touch of arch gap!! Features include, air suspension, digital dash, electric many-things, smooth V8 power and some private plate pimpin as well.

The dash is mint, didn’t even know it had digi-dash until I went to see it, so I was well impressed. Now the mission is on to find a few choice bits, wheels especially will be a challenge as I’m trying to stick to a budget and not go crazy like on the Impreza, which sadly is for sale.

Watch this space for developments, that is if the people/shops I have emailed about wheels get back to me. Why is everyone so slack don’t they want my money, I get super impatient when waiting for replies and deliveries, and on that note, the camera jib/crane I ordered in June might get here by the end of the year if I’m lucky, god damn everything!!! Got some pics from Eric and Mark to post as well, when I get a minute…
Another awesome JDM R32, this is AG-Ys demo car, owned and driven by one of their employees. It’s exactly how I like R32 GTRs to look, aggressive and time attackish!

Over the last few weeks I’ve been trying to source a new project in the form of a Lexus LS400, which hasn’t been going entirely to plan, and has lead to serious blog neglect. There just aren’t that many good examples to choose from, and those that are mint are asking too much. My brother and car consultant on all levels suggested the GS300 I wasn’t too keen as I wanted the V8, thats when the GS430(4.3 V8 fosho) came into play, now the f**ckin search is on, but it’s the same again. To get the right price buying for a project and taking the additional costs into account, it’s going to be tricky to find one at the right price as they are rare cars, therein lies the mission, and herein lies a couple VIP Lexus whips.

A bit of a delay with this feature as it’s been a little hectic lately. Put the cars to the side for a minute…Click here to read more > the full report at corruptindustries.com
I took a trip to the Hyper Japan, the UKs biggest J-Culture event, a 3 day event which is only in it’s second year. Having last year been held in Shoreditch, London. A larger venue was required to deal with demand from both exhibitors and visitors, Olympia 2 in Kensington being the chosen location. This years tragic events have brought the community together even more and everyone was keen to show their support. I went on the opening Friday, it was relatively quiet compared to the 2 hour queues of Saturday, it wouldn’t have mattered to me because I had a media pass, oh yea.
The event showcases various aspects of Japanese culture and it’s interesting and diverse sub-cultures including food, technology, fashion, games, film, music, anime, manga, cosplay and more, obviously for us it’s usually cars but it’s good to mix it up and I like a bit of Sushi.

Gutted that I missed Awesomefest this weekend especially as things didn’t go to plan and I may as well have gone. I was meant to be looking at new project cars VIP stylee, however that fell through (because some people are liers and others are arseholes) meaning I pretty much wasted a weekend. I did however find these vids via another blog (liberty-vip.com) of the Sessions Platinum VIP event at Fuji Speedway last week, some of the sickest VIP whips in the whole wide world. These guys roll super low static with mega dish and are often less than slow, as you’ll see!!!
